Hi, I’m Bryan. I’m the Pixel Pusher behind Nostalgic Pixel.

This is where I share my love for video games, movies, and the creative process. What started as a small side project has become a place for me to explore, reflect, and build. It’s a mix of writing, video essays, photography, and long-overdue playthroughs. For me, this is a journey. A way to reconnect with old favorites and finally discover the games I missed.

I focus mostly on retro games, including 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit titles. I also enjoy modern games that carry that same spirit. I make video essays, stream when I can, and post full playthroughs and behind-the-scenes content. I also co-host a podcast with my friend Bryan called The Legendary Backlog. On the show, we talk about games that are at least five years old. Some are classics. Others are forgotten gems. And some are just worth a second look.

I like to share how I make things. That includes my setup, how I capture footage, how I write, and how I edit. I play on original hardware, FPGA consoles, and sometimes use emulation. I try to get the cleanest signal possible, often using RGB. I still use my old xRGB mini when it fits the setup. I also play on a CRT PVM and post still photos of it on Instagram. While I enjoy CRTs, I don’t film them directly for video.

I have a background in art and design. I hold a BFA in Sculpture with a focus on Interactive Media. I’ve worked as a graphic designer, a creative director, and in IT. I enjoy systems, structure, and problem-solving—especially when it comes to creative work.

Nostalgic Pixel is more than a channel or a website. It’s a space where I slow down and revisit the things that made an impact on me. It’s about memory, design, and the joy of discovery. Sometimes that means exploring what made a game special. Sometimes it’s just appreciating the feel of a title screen or the sound of a boot-up chime.

Thanks for visiting. I hope something here brings back a memory—or sparks a new one.
